A chevron stripe adds zip and cheer to any quilt blanket. This versatile and easy pattern can be your go to place to find the perfect handmade gift to make for your family and friends. The pattern includes 2 versions, one with borders on the ends and 3 chevron stripes, one with no borders and 4 chevron stripes.

The applique chevron stripes are sewn with the fabric edges raw, exposed. It is designed to fray to the stitches, giving a textured, unaffected look to the quilt. The applique and the quilting are done at the same time. There is no binding; the edges are finished by sewing all around and then clipping the edges to fray.

Every step in this quilt was planned to create the most beautiful quilt possible in the most efficient way possible. The pattern pieces are full size, just print and tape together. There are numbered step by step directions and photos to help you.
