The Caroline Dress is a great pattern for beginners. Simple instructions and loads of beautiful, color photographs to help you along the way. You can stitch up a whole closet full of adorable dresses in a weekend.

The Caroline Dress looks adorable alone and can be layered over t-shirts, leggings, jeans, or tights to take her through all the seasons. Get years of use from this versatile style that fits first as a dress and then as a tunic top!

9 sizes included: 0-12 Months, 12-24 Months, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8

Matching doll pattern is suitable for dolls 16-18", but can be easily adjusted to many doll sizes.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

Main Fabric: (0-12, 12-24, 2T require 3/4 yard); (3T, 4T, 5T, 6, 7, 8 require 1 yard)
Trim Fabric: (All sizes require 1/2 yard trim fabric)
Doll Dress: (Requires 1/3 yard main fabric and 1/4 yard trim fabric)

SUPPLIES:
Thread, scissors, iron, ironing board, safety pin, ruler/straight edge, measuring tape, sewing needle, tube turning tool (available at Joannes and other sewing shops), rotary cutting blade and mat (optional)

Very easy pattern to follow the directions were very clear. A king sized pillowcase was repurposed for this dress. There was enough extra material to make the bias strips and ties. It turned out very cute!

This pattern is easy to follow, has lots of pictures and can be completed very quickly - even by a beginner. The dress is so cute and gives you lots of options for trims and/or embroidery.
