Reversible Rompers (Boys and Girls sizes Newborn to 5T) Romper
Description
The romper is a classic for cuteness and comfort. This versatile style is great for any season. Use lightweight fabrics to make an adorable summer “jon-jon”, or construct from cuddly corduroy for warm winter coveralls. Best of all, this romper is completely reversible...two outfits in one! Decorate one side for a special birthday, and the other side for everyday. It is also perfect for closely spaced holidays like Valentines and St. Patty’s day. The style is perfect for boys and girls alike. As a bonus, instructions for adding ruffles and making rompers for dollies is included in a supplemental eBook.
Easy to sew (only one pattern piece!), this romper can be made in a range of lengths from short-alls to full length over-alls. It can even be made a few inches longer than floor length and rolled up to reveal the fabric on the other side. For quick diaper changes, snaps can be added to the inseam. Shoulder fastener options include buttons and snaps.

Ruffles add a touch of boutique sweetness to the classic romper. Using the techniques provided in this supplemental eBook, you can make a ruffled romper that is still fully reversible and has the same inseam options as the classic romper.
Rompers are perfect for dollies, too! The are easy for little hands to take on and off, and kids love that they are reversible. The leg openings can be ruffled or hemmed (perfect for boy/girl twin sets of dolls). Patterns are provided for both 18” girl dolls and 15” baby dolls.

Materials
2 fabrics (1 to 1 1/2 yards of each, depending on size, length, and options)
Sew-in interfacing for shoulder tabs
Buttons or snaps for shoulder fasteners
Snap tape or press-on snaps for inseam(optional)
Wash-away Wondertape (optional, but highly recommended for finishing leg openings)
