These pillows may look boney, but they are very soft and cuddly. Just the thing for all the young paleontologists in the family!
They are made from fleece with jumbo rickrack around the edges. The dinosaur fossils are first appliqued onto the front and then the puffed fleece “bones” are sewn over the applique and stuffed with batting.
Each pillow is 12” X 12”, so they fit a standard pillow form or you can use polyester fiberfill to stuff them. Cotton fabrics are used for the backs of the pillows and the appliques. All sewing is done by machine. There aren’t any attached embellishments which makes them safe for toddlers.
This 15 page PDF ePattern includes detailed step-by-step instructions written in English, a complete materials list, and a color photograph for each step.
*Note: These are downloadable instructions for making a dinosaur bone pillow.
