This is an easy “sew and turn right-side-out design - no binding required.” You have the option to turn it right-side-out and stuff it with polyfil to use as a pillow if you choose, by simply eliminating the tabs.

Simple, sophisticated, elegant or folksy depending upon your choice of fabrics. This is an easy, no fuss fusible pattern for beginner to advanced skill levels. The instructions are for a wall hanging, double-batted in the center to make the bird on a tree branch silhouette stand out, but can easily be adapted as a pillow for someone with basic sewing skills. Feel free to add your own embellishments, such as buttons or lace, etc., to make it "your own." A great way to bring nature into your home!

I like to encourage stitchers to choose their favorite colors and patterns, brights, neutrals, primitives, fancies...whatever YOU like! Don't be afraid to experiment! As long as you have enough contrast between the backing fabric and the bird fabric, it will turn out great.

- Your finished wall hanging will be approximately 16.5” high x 14” wide.
- Machine raw edge appliqué, machine sewing - beginner to expert level.
- Can also be made as a pillow! Simple instructions included.

Note: These are downloadable instructions and pattern pieces for making a pillow or wall hanging. Since it is a download, a window will open to download and when you are signed into your user account at the time of purchase, it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.
