“So cute and so easy! I've made several pairs already! It's my new favorite pattern for my son!”

Beach Bum Bermuda Shorts are ready for all of your kids' summer adventures! These shorts have a professional finish featuring a pieced waistband, faux fly, front slant pockets, belt loops, and faux back pockets. Make them in madras for a fun beachy look or complete your children's school uniforms with a few pairs in khaki.

The tutorial includes instructions for creating a completely adjustable waistband using buttonhole elastic (perfect for growth spurts!) or a standard elastic waist with flat front.

Pattern comes with a full tutorial and color photos in an easy to print PDF. Pattern pieces are computer generated. New to sewing? No problem--the tutorial will walk you through and if you get stuck, the author is always available to help you out via email.

the shorts front top piece doesn't all fit onto the paper when printed out (I have printed it out several times just to be sure), because of this, this pattern would be difficult and confusing for a beginner who has never altered a pattern. Other than this, the pattern is alright.

This is a very good pattern. I had some trouble figuring out the faux fly, but I'm sure it was reader error. My boys were adorable in their shorts!
