“Cute. My granddaughters are going to love this.”
The ballerina doll clothing is so sweet and easy to make! The outfit will fit 18” dolls, including American Girl Dolls. Instructions are included to make the ballerina top, skirt and shoes from satin fabric; and the tutu, headband and armbands from tulle (bridal netting). White satin ribbon is used for the neck straps, bow on the tutu and ties on the shoes. To make the shoes, fuse fabric to felt (wool or acrylic). Then cut out the shoe top and sole shapes and sew them together. You can also make the top and skirt from cotton fabrics for an everyday outfit – The top is reversible so you can use a different fabric for the front and lining for two different looks.
This PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns for the top and shoes; measurements for the skirt, tutu, headband and armbands; clear instructions written in English and step-by-step photographs.
