“Cute!”

Make A Swaddling Blanket With This Swaddling Blanket Pattern

So you want to know how to make a swaddling blanket? Make it fit easy and extra snug with velcro. With this pattern it's easy! Really easy.

Not only is this a very detailed printable swaddling blanket sewing pattern, but this is also a detailed tutorial on how to make a swaddling blanket. There are 33 colorful images and incredible descriptions for each step that will never leave you guessing.
Make your own blanket that has velcro closure to keep baby tight, snug and secure.

If you have researched swaddling blankets, you know how incredibly expensive they can be...especially for a cute one. With my budget friendly ideas you can make one of these swaddling blankets for cheap and even free!

People have always swaddled their babies. It makes sense! They were in a tight, comfortable, & warm environment in the womb and then BAM - loose, uncomfortable, and cold environment upon birth. Swaddling babies helps them to sleep and feel secure because they are familiar with the tight, comfortable and warm environment. It also helps to keep those twitching arms still. The reflexes that make baby twitch are very aggrivating and cause the baby to wake up.
At 2am have you ever tried to tightly swaddle an angry baby? Do yourself a favor and make a swaddling blanket designed for you! Parents agree that swaddling blankets that are fitted with velcro are VERY much easier to get a good fit on baby rather then receiving blankets.

Give yourself and your baby a gift and make him/her a swaddling blanket.

This swaddling blanket pattern is designed for babies from newborn up to 12 months.
It has adjustable velcro tabs with plenty of adjustability to get a tight fit for all babies.
It also has contoured shoulders for a perfect fit every time.

This swaddling blanket pattern includes:

This turned out fine. I had to enlarge the pattern because my granddaughter is 7 months and needs room to grow. But she won't sleep with out being swaddled. So this was the only answer.

Loved this to put together. Really like the option this pattern affords by being able to use several fabrics for a real boutique look. Have already made several for twin grand babies due in a few months & other baby gifts.
