Here's a fun and easy way to embellish a new or vintage pair of jeans! Using scraps of fabric you already have in your stash, you can create a funky little design. This eBook explains how to prepare your jeans to provide a "design space" for your creation; how to choose and prepare the fabric for the crazy patch technique; how to apply ribbon, braid, or other decorative trim; how to build the design and apply to the jeans; how to appliqué additional designs on your jeans; how to make a matching fabric belt; and how to finish your jeans with a bottom band around the hemline. Other suggestions include the use of decorative stitching on your crazy patch design, and the use of buttons and charms to add the final touch to make your embellished jeans a real work of art!
This design could be used with any fabric combination, including a holiday theme for the upcoming months, a spring / summer theme, or perhaps a design with farm animals, wild animal fabrics, or any whimsical fabric combination. This eBook will show you the basic technique for creating a crazy patch design with all the embellishments and appliqués, and one technique for applying your design to a pair of jeans or any other article of clothing. Lots of versatility with this pattern!

I have been trying to make these patchwork jeans for a while now. I got so frustrated ripping seams and my fabric came out all puffy and bubbled. Nina makes this so easy! I was like, Duh, why didn't I figure that out! The instructions and pictures are excellent and I can't wait to compare this technique with my horrible pair of beginner pants LOL!!
