3/4” wide knit elastic (1/2 yard)
All purpose zipper (14”)
Glue Stick (for attaching zipper)
Heavy duty sewing machine needle (90/14) for attaching bunched straps to elastic
Fabric:
2 - 4 yards depending on size and length

I love how this dress came out. Directions were easy to follow. I did have to take out the zipper and redo it once. But, I am horrible at zippers. An added bonus for me is that I can still nurse my son without getting undressed due to the elastic in the neckline.

I looove this pattern. Today was my first time to make a big (adult) dress for our teenager (as I always make clothes for our little princess) and this pattern was so easy to follow and the new owner was stoked ... will make more soon.

Another great pattern! The zipper insertion method is very easy to follow. The Jamie dress is very comfortable to wear. I have made a couple of these and I can't wait to make more. I have seen the Jamie on different body shapes (size 2 to plus size) and they look very flattering, no matter what your size is!

This is a flattering pattern for most body types. Instructions are great as this is a Carla C pattern. Love it!

This pattern is very clear and easy to follow. The zipper insertion is the easiest I've ever used. I now use this method for other patterns as well. I did find I needed to take it in at the side seams--so I would suggest trying the dress on before adding the zipper. :) I made this dress in my hit and miss sewing time over 3 afternoons. Will be making again!!

LOVE the Jamie dress. Carla and Jennifer make this very easy. The zipper goes in so easy with there detailed instructions, way better than any zipper tutorial I have ver seen.
