Simple Tote Bag
Description
The simple tote bag measures 14 1/4” wide by 12 3/4” tall by 3” deep. The wide single strap is designed to be worn over-the-shoulder. It’s a great eco-friendly bag that is great for shopping, carrying books, items for baby, etc. The bag can be made with or without fusible fleece. The bag made without the fleece is very lightweight and folds up flat when stored away. The bag made with the fusible fleece is a sturdier cushioned bag. Either style is easy to make.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
-Light to medium weight cotton print fabric – 5/8 yard
-Light to medium weight coordinating cotton solid fabric – 5/8 yard
-Coordinating sewing thread
-OPTIONAL: 5/8 yard fusible fleece is needed if you want to make a heavier bag

Very quick and easy pattern to follow. The bag turns out cute and is a very usable size. I used this pattern to teach my friend's daughter to sew. She loves sewing now and is so proud of her bag!
