Baby Animal Softies
Description
These baby animals are soft and sweet! Instructions are included to make a teddy, panda, monkey, sheep, dog and frog. Each one measures approximately 6 1/4” tall by
7 1/2” wide. The animals are stuffed with polyester fiberfill. They are just the right size for babies and toddlers. Fleece is used for the body, arms and legs on all the animals, teddy and panda ears, and frog eyes. Cotton fabric is used for the appliqués on all the animals (except panda eyes), and the monkey, sheep and dog ears. Fleece or cotton fabric can be used for all the pieces if you prefer working with one or the other.

Fleece – 1/4 yard for teddy body/arms/legs/ears, monkey body/arms/legs, sheep body/arms/legs,
dog body/arms/legs, frog body/arms/legs/eyes; 6” x 12” rectangle for panda body;
4” x 24” rectangle for panda arms/legs/ears & eye appliqués
Light to medium weight cotton print fabrics – 4” x 9” rectangle for monkey/sheep ears & face appliqués;
5” square for dog ears & eye appliqué; 4” square for frog tummy appliqué; 2” square for teddy/panda/dog nose appliqué
Double sided iron-on fusible web – 4” x 4” rectangle for each animal (Lite Steam-A-Seam 2 Fusible Web by
The Warm Company was used for sample animals but any fusible web for fabric will work fine)
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Sewing thread – black for stitching around appliqués & color that matches fabric
Embroidery floss – black & white for French knots on eye dots
