Materials Needed:
Fabric A 1 yard, Fabric B 1yard, Fabric C 1 yard and interfacing 2 yards (for both backpacks). Hardware needed 4- 1.5" D-rings (for the adjustable straps), 1- 9" zipper (for back pocket), 1-18" zipper for side zipper and 1- 9" zipper for the kids backpack. If you choose to make only the kid size you will need 1/2 yard of each fabric.
Sizes that can be made: Mommy size is approx. 14.5"H X 15"W (at its fullest) and kid size is approx. 9.5"H X 9.5"W (at its fullest)
Final measurements: Mommy size is approx. 14.5"H X 15"W (at its fullest) and kid size is approx. 9.5"H X 9.5"W (at its fullest).

I made these and they turned out really cute. My daughter just loves having a bag just like moms. I took away one star just because the directions were at times hard to follow, and even though I have about 20 years expierence i ended up cutting something out wrong on the adult pack and wasting some my fabric so I ended up having to buy another 1/2 yard to finish up.
