Description

Enjoy being in the kitchen again! There was a time when a woman’s apron was meant to be more than just something to protect clothing: it was a symbol of her pride in herself and her home. While women used to create elaborately embroidered aprons, we now have fun, funky, mod fabrics to do the embellishing for us! Choose your favorite fabric and create a fashionable and functional apron that’ll get you back into the kitchen.

16 pages of instruction and 34 photographs guide you through making your own custom apron. Learn to embellish it with a scalloped edge or inset ruffle. There is no end to your creativity as you hand craft your own symbol of happiness.

I have loved making aprons for gifts on any occasion. I never realized how much women AND men love a good apron when it's interesting and has lots of fun vibrant fabrics. So fun to personalize and add pot holders, etc to go with it as a set.

My favorite apron pattern ever!!!! You can't ever have enough aprons. Makes the perfect gift. The pattern is wonderful to follow. Love, love, love it!

I just got this pattern recently and have already made three of these aprons for gifts. Very clear and easy instructions, also fun to make. I love the gathered insert and the tip about using dental floss. Can't wait to make one for me and several more for birthday gifts.

I made this apron-the style with the gathered insert-for my sister for one of her wedding showers. It was so easy and I got multiple compliments on it. Everyone loved it, especially my sister! I will be making more of these-the next one's for me, though.
