MAKE YOUR OWN SHOPPING CART SEAT COVER! And you can do it now with step by step instructions WITH photos!
Did you know that SHOPPING CARTS are DIRTIER than PUBLIC RESTROOMS?
Studies have shown that there are harmful bacteria on shopping carts - drippings from raw meat, poultry, viruses from people's hands that have been sick and other seriously dangerous bacteria. Keep your little one safe, comfortable and happy with a shopping cart seat cover handmade by you.
~ NOW WITH SAFETY BELT SCRUNCHY INSTRUCTIONS ~
Instructions for making the safety belt scrunchy are included with this pattern. The safety belt scrunchy is a cover for the safety belt which is attached to the shopping cart or restaurant high chair. The safety belt scrunchy keeps the safety belt from touching the child but still allows you to use the safety belt attached to the shopping cart or restaurant high chair which is the safest way to use your shopping cart cover!
The seat cover made from this pattern completely covers the entire surface of the shopping cart the child sits on. The seat cover features two toy loops and belt holes so the safety belt attached to the shopping cart can be used. The seat cover made from this pattern is also great to use in restaurant highchairs and mall or amusement park strollers.
The seat cover made from this pattern will fit both standard size and warehouse size shopping carts.
EASY to follow instructions. BASIC sewing skills required.
This pattern offers optional fabric suggestions and optional variations on design, including a pocket, pillow and ruffle option, so the seat cover you make will be suited to your preference and style.

Made this in one afternoon. Fits all the carts I can find really well. Lots of people have asked me where I got it :) I may have to make some more for baby gifts.

Easy pattern and turned out so cute. I had some gingham patterned quilt binding that I used around the edges for a casing and it added such a cute addition. The toy straps were perfect and the pocket was a great place to add a little notebook and pencil for my daughter to keep her own grocery list.
