This snowflake pattern is really quite lovely. I made a set of scarves for caroling and used the snowflakes to make ornaments as well. I have enjoyed this pattern very much!

This snowflake pattern definitely crochets up fast! Super easy too! I used baby/sport weight yarn instead of the recommended worsted wieight yarn because I wanted the pearly effect of the fibers running through it. The snowflakes ended up a little smaller and not as stiff, but still worked out perfectly for my project!
