“Easy peasy!”

I collect vintage aprons. I love how they look. I came up with this idea for my girls to wear a sweet apron as a top. I love how it turned out, with the open back and the little pockets in the front. It looks great by itself in the summer and with a long sleeved shirt underneath in the winter.

Top- ¾ yard
Ties- ¼ yard contrasting fabric

Such a great, easy to follow pattern, and the tops are so cute! I have made them for gifts, and of course my own daughter. So many compliments every time she wears them.

This pattern was VERY easy to follow - thank you for that! I will probably make a few of these in varying lengths/weights for my daughter to wear to school this fall and winter - cute and practical. I will, however, alter the placement of the straps. I think they are a bit far apart, definitely for my 2-year old, and also in the sample photos I see above. Overall, however, I am very pleased.
