Amanda's Dress is a classic style dress, with fully lined bodice buttoned at the back, puffy sleeves, a twirly circular skirt with attached petticoat (optional) and a wide sash that closes at the back with 1 big button or 2 medium size buttons (that's your choice).
You have 2 options for hemming; regular folded hem or a binding using bias tape. This tutorial also explains how to make your own bias tape.
You can make this dress out of silk, shantung, crepe or any other delicate fabric for a party gown or use cotton for a beautiful holiday or birthday party dress.
This pattern goes from 12 months up to 10 years.

My daughter is wearing Captian America Dress right now. I made the sash red and white and the dress blue, then added a star applique to the chest and it looks amazing. Easy to follow directions for an adorable result.
I'm planning to use this pattern to make my daughters coordinating Christmas dresses too.
Just the sweetest dress. S easy to follow directions
Beautiful dress. Pattern took a little time to put together but with circle skirt I understand why. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.
Wonderful dress, easy patterna and great instructions.
This is a great pattern. It came together easily. The instructions were clear. My girls love the fully lined skirt and bodice. My oldest loves that the dress can have a sash without having a big bow in the back as she always complains about sitting down with a big bow. I may borrow the sash part for some other dresses to finish them off in the future.
This is a great, classic style. I used horsehair braid to hem and changed the buttons to an invisible zipper. I didn't really follow the instructions, but they seemed clearly written when I read through them quickly.
really like, easy to follow instructions for the most part.
