“Thank you for this cute pattern. I made mine in pink and zebra. It turned out really cute and was easy to put together. It is a gift and I am sure she will love it.”
These very easy instructions are great for those with at least basic sewing skills. It has exterior pocket topped with elastic casings to keep your favorite items secure yet easy to reach. The elastic topped pockets are SO easy to make - it's as simple as sewing a straight line and inserting the elastic. There are also instructions for three different types of interior pockets - a row of elastic topped pockets, a simple patch pocket or a hidden zipper pocket for more advanced sew-ers.
Measures approximately 18.5" wide x 14" tall x 4" deep

1 ½ yards focus fabric (shown in green on sample bag)
2 yards coordinating fabric (shown in zebra on sample bag)
1 ½ yard fusible fleece interfacing (I like Pellon 987F, but any fusible fleece should work fine)
12” zipper (if making zipper pocket inside)
1” or larger button (buttons with a shank work best) – fabric covered buttons are a fun option for this project, and only take a minute to assemble.
7” of 1/4” wide elastic OR a large ponytail elastic
1 ½ yard of 3/4” wide elastic
erasable marker or pencil
handsewing needles for attaching the button
new heavy duty sewing needle for your machine – not required, but recommended; the fusible fleece can be hard on machines and a new needle will reduce the effort required to sew through it.
