“i made this for my great niece and she loves it. I love this pattern its so easy.”

Don't throw away jeans with holes or that are too short! "Upcycle" them. Use your favorite fabric scraps to create a cute twirl skirt.

Pages: 7
Pictures: 16 full color, 4 diagrams

Materials needed:

-1 pair of old pants or shorts – jeans, khaki's, or corduroys work well. The waist should still fit the child who will be wearing the skirt.
-3 coordinating non-stretchy cotton fabrics (amount depends on your child's size)
- lace or other washable trim, 1 ½ - 2" wide (actual yardage depends on your child's size)
-thread
-Optional but very helpful – rotary cutter & mat, and pinking shears

Sizes that can be made: any size; my easy worksheet helps you calculate the amount of fabric and gives directions for cutting strips for any size skirt - even ladies sizes!

Final Measurements: depends on size

Very straight forward pattern. The only thing I would change is finishing the hem before attaching it to the jean top of the skirt.
