The Aivilo Shirred Skirt is a great skirt for both ladies and girls. With three styles to choose from – basic (which makes a great “canvas” for appliqué), ruffled-edge, or two-tiered – there are so many possibilities to show off your creativity. Shirring is a very simple technique to learn, and the feminine look it lends to this skirt is so pretty.

Enjoyed this pattern. Skirts turned out very cute.
The measurements this pattern gives were way, way off for me. I cut the size small based on my waist measurement, and the skirt came out about 8 inches too big (4 on each side). It has nice pictures to help explain the shirring part. But, I ended up googling shirring and finding free tutorials that had a better way for me to get an accurate measurement of how wide to cut my pieces. So this pattern was basically a waste of money.
