Note from the author:
"As a mommy of two little girls, I know how important bows are. But to me, comfort is just as important. I remember putting a headband on my first daughter only to find later that it had left an indentation on her little head. I vowed never to use that headband again and began searching for something better. I didn't know that it would be so hard to find headbands that were unique, beautiful, and comfortable. After my second daughter was born, I finally discovered the nylong bowband. It is the perfect headband for little girls. It is soft, stretchy, and never leaves a mark on your little one's head. You don't have to worry about it being too tight or hurting. It is so stretchy that it can fit infants and older children. The nylon band was the solution I had been looking for. It was also the start of my business. I spent the next year experimenting and learning how to create the perfect nylong bowband in a variety of colors. Now, I would like to share my experience with you...."

The instructions were great, but somehow I keep ending up with really thick parts that dig into their heads and look painful. I am going to try again, but hand stitch the ribbons instead of gluing so much.

Thank you for a wonderful book. I love these and have made several. It's so wonderful that my little princess, who is five months old, can wear all the pretty boutique bows I have made her (without hair, I must add). When she wears her "bowband" people always stop and comment about how cute she is in her hair bows. Thanks a bunch, the instructions were clear, simple and easy to follow. Thank you again for helping me make my princess so precious.
