LOVE the look of this top! The contrast trim is a bit tricky and I wound up not following the directions and making it my own way.

Sweet design with lots of space on the front for applique or trims. Wish it was available to size 10.

Very involved and you might want to size up but it is totally worth it.

Its super cute but I did struggle a bit with the trim trying to get the seams to match up was almost impossible even with all the pinning, but I am working on it as its so adorable

One of my favorite patterns. Unfortunately, my daughter has grown out of the largest size. I wish the pattern went up a few more sizes! It's so cute!

I LOVE this top, and pattern! However, it is a bit tricky on beginners! But with a few adjustments you can make it work and make a great top in NO time! Love it!

A great summer top with lots of space for applique and embellishment. Might be a bit tricky to figure out with the curves & fit the first time making it but it's a fun one to remake many times because with adding your own details, it will look different every time!

I really love the finished look of this pattern. I changed it up to be closed in the back and it was very easy to do. My only issue I had was the pattern pieces. They didn't print exactly right and I had to try and reprint one page several times to get it to work. But I really love how easily it goes together and the directions are pretty good!

This is a good pattern. Just a little more trickly with all the pieces for the top part. But over all good pattern.

Loved this pattern. Made a size 6 for my 5 yr old grand daughter it was a tad tight but she loved it anyway. I'm going to make it again probably the size 8 and see how it goes fit wise. But it is easy to make, the directions are excellent and looks fantastic especially with the bare canvas front, wonderful for embroidery.

I have had this one for a few years and NEVER HAVE been able to print it correctly. I just downloaded again and tried to print one last time. NO luck. The scale is correct b/c I checked with the ruler and I print many many MANY epatterns with success. This one is off the page and prints differently every time. I have even tried other printers. NO luck. I am an experienced sewer and have an etsy shop as well as facebook fan page. I can redraw the pattern and have stitched it once a few years ago and yes it runs very small. My granddaughter is extremely thin and it was too small for her. I think any beginner would be frustrated with the pattern pieces. The directions are easy to follow and percise. I just wish the pattern pieces were usable.

I enjoyed making this top, but I wish there was a bit of an easier way to do the straps and trim. The first time making it was kinda rough, but after that I got the idea it was a breeze and have enjoyed it ever since. The open space for embroidery is awesome!

Super easy to follow and we get so many compliments when my daughters wear their Emma tops!

I LOVE this top!! It has such a large open area on the front(and back) for applique, that my mind wizzes with ideas when i am cutting out my fabrics!! I do find that it runs a tad small in the sizing, so i would recommend that you make the next size up - especially if wearing over a peasant top etc. All in all, a super top that can be made in a thousand ways, just by changing the fabrics!

Adorable pattern and easy to follow with great pictures to help. Have made several for my daughter and others as well. Love that the front is open for appliques. Cute for summer as well as the colder seasons.

Love this top and the large front for adding appliques. I made the size 8 for my 7 yr old and it was quite tight on her though (and she wears a 6/7). I have plans to make many more for my younger daughter now.

This top was so much fun. I LOVE the "open" style on the front, it makes a great canvas for embroidery. The pattern is very well written and the result is a super cute top. Now that I have made one I have plans for many others :). I plan on changing the original pattern up a bit for a different look, but glad I have this pattern to start me off. THANKS FOR AN AWESOME PATTERN.
