Quilts can literally be a work of art. That is what inspired me to design and make my own quilt hanger. As I shopped around to purchase one and realized just how expensive they were, I started to think to myself, “Hey, I could make that.” And I did! This pattern is simple, but elegant. There is room for your own creative ideas and the detailed instructions will take you step by step through the process of making your own quilt hanger with shelf.

To make this project you will need some simple materials all readily available at your local home improvement store. You will also need several tools. I found my best resources to getting all these tools were my good neighbors and friends. None of these tools are obscure and many have an optional replacement.
