Baby Thong Sandals - Sizes 2-6

These booties work up quickly and are a blast to make. The soles of sandals are actually two soles made in contrasting colors that are sandwiched, wrong sides together, and crocheted together with a slip-stitch. The entire sandal upper (strappy part) is made with two simple rounds, one round being a chain, and the next a single crochet round. Once you get the soles assembled, you're almost finished. They're that quick and easy! Why not make a coordinating pair for every summer outfit?

SIZES:

Small is 4 ¼ ” long and fits sizes 2-3.
Medium is 4 ¾ ” long and fits sizes 3-4.
Large is 5 ¼ ” long and fits sizes 5-6.

Please keep in mind that crochet is stretchy.

MATERIALS USED:

-Medium worsted yarn (such as Red Heart or any brand this weight):
-Appx. 20 yards of main color (mc)
-Appx. 16 yards of contrasting color (cc)
-12 Pony beads (optional)
-Crochet hook size G (small and medium) or H (large)
-Stitch marker (A bit of yarn, string, or small safety pin will do!)
-Yarn needle
