Crochet Preemie Windowpane Skull Cap

Note from Author:
"There are so many babies that need these to regulate their body temperatures right after birth. Our 2nd child was not a preemie, but she had a difficult time regulating her body temperature after she was born and a hat was essential for her first couple of days.
This pattern is FREE, but it is for charity. It is my hope that people will crochet these hats for their local NICU’s, shelters, hospitals, etc. The easiest way to contact the hospital is to ask for the Preemie or NICU donation coordinator."
These are for average preemies 11-13 inch head circumferences (4-7 pound babies). For micro preemies go down a hook size and use Sport Weight yarn (1-3 pound preemies).
