Jungle Blankies

A baby’s blanket provides a sense of security, warmth, love, and will help soften baby’s fears as they face a wide variety of “firsts”.

It’s A Jungle In Here includes the pattern for: Monkey, Giraffe, and Elephant blankets. You can also stuff these blankets with poly-fil to make a soft and cuddly shaped pillow.

Materials needed:

-choice of fabric (minky, chenille, corduroy, flannel, fleece, etc.) 1 1/4 yards for the monkey, 2/3 yard for the giraffe, and 1 ½ yard for the elephant, coordinating thread, cutting mat and rotary cutter (optional, but very helpful), scissors, fabric marker, pins, pattern pieces (printed and cut out),15 inches of ribbon (optional)
