I made these Pocket Pals. The pattern was super easy to understand and do. It's a great way to use some of my extra fabric pieces. I made these for little ones, so I didn't include any of the cute embellishments that you can add to these for an extra special touch.

I can't believe how easy it was to make this tie. I was really nervous to try this, but am so happy with the result. The instructions were super easy! Now my son can have a tie to match all of his sister's outfits. (he doesn't feel so left out anymore)

I made this outfit for my daughter's preschool Christmas program using 3 different Dainty Designs ebooks: Layered Tulle Twirl Skirt, Peasant Top and Corset Top with Shirred Back. I am so amazed with these ebooks and how well the finished product turned out. My daughter calls it her 'ballerina skirt' and wants to wear it all of the time. Pardon the pun but these are such "dainty designs".

I couldn't find anything special enough for my daughter's voice recital so I decided I'd create a one-of-a-kind dress for her. Admittedly, I haven't sewn in quite some time, and I was a little scared going into this project, but the results exceeded my expectations. She looked absolutely beautiful in her dress and got so many compliments. She was so proud to say, "My mommy made it!" I used the How to Make a Layered Tulle Twirl Skirt and How to Make a Peasant Top patterns. Used embroidered silk and black velvet to give it an elegant look and feel.

I thought after creating the lilac peasant dress, I attempt something a little more challenging. It was so much fun to create this dress! Even more fun to see the look on my daughters face while she was flaunting it.
