I made this Jasmine set using CarlaC's Simply Sweet for the top. I added the little arm bands by cutting a piece of fabric and putting elastic in the top and bottom. The pants are CarlaC's Easy Fit Pants with elastic in the bottom of the legs.

I was so excited to find this fabric at Walmart the other week!!! It is the same fabric that my Grandma made a quilt for Arminda out of before she was born. I needed to make Arminda a 5th Grade graduation dress, so it was perfect!!! I used CarlaC's Portrait Peasant dress for this dress.

Ruffle bum pants made from the pattern from Growing Up With Rosie (photo of front of pants). I am just getting back into sewing after years of not sewing so I'd call myself an advanced beginner - these are far from perfect. Love this pattern and will be making more pairs soon.

I asked my daughter, Lydia if she would like me to make her a last day of school (kindergarten) dress. She replied "Yes, make me one with frowny faces on it, because I am so sad to leave my teacher!" Well, I didn't have any frowny face fabric, but I did have this great beach fabric and since it was the beginning of summer AND her class was having a "beach" party that day I though this would work!! This is CarlaC's Portrait Peasant top without the elastic in the sleeves.
