Today was a gorgeous day. I started to see the beginning of our tulips coming up and I am crossing my fingers that the snow isn’t coming back any time soon.
I thought it would be fun to share with you some ideas of outfits you could make. Never touched a sewing machine before? No problem! Seriously. I could share hundreds of successful “I can’t believe I actually MADE that!” stories with you.
The first is a cute Spring set collaboration created by 4 of the authors at www.YouCanMakeThis.com.
- Crochet a Floppy-Eared Bunny Silly Hat Pattern (With this one, you will need to know how to crochet.)
- Frayed Applique: Think Spring! (These patterns are PERFECT for beginners. If you know how to sew a straight stitch, you can do this!)
- How to Sew Ruffled Capris! (Don’t let this intimidate you. We literally take you through every step. Larger sizes are also available.)
- Boutique Easter Baskets (A-dor-a-ble! Just think of those fabrics you could use. Someone even made a camo one in our “I Made This!” section. Another person made these for a wedding. There are a lot of possibilities here.)
And isn’t our little model so sweet? Oh, she’s a cutie.
So that’s today’s little bit of Spring inspiration. Now I’m off to rake those flower beds!

Oh, I would lov eto learn how to crochet. I bought a self help kit, OK maybe I am a little off but I could not get past the triple knot. Yikes…it was scary! However, I do have the Easter basket pattern and I love it. I will be pulling it out once agin this year for the Easter celebration!
