Materials:
- Fabric 1: (4) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" blocks (background fabric)
- Fabric 2: (4) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" blocks (pinwheel fabric)
- Fabric Glue Stick
- Button
Fold each Fabric 2 block in half, diagonally. Press with iron.
Slide glue stick along the edge of one side of a Fabric 1 block.
Align the raw edge of the pinwheel triangle with the edge that you glued.
Fold down one pinwheel corner and glue at the background corner.
Repeat Steps 2-4 to make 4 identical blocks.
Arrange blocks as shown in photo.
Sew blocks together using a 1/4" seam allowance.
Finish off by sewing a button to the center.
*Note: We used 3 1/2" square blocks, but this same technique can be made with any size block. Have fun embellishing your quilts, clothing, and home decor with dimensional pinwheels!
